Crazy 4 Cult 4 Preview
Gallery 1998‘s 4th installation of Crazy 4 Cult will open in a little more than a week, and the lineup is insane. As the opening nears, some of the artists are letting us get a sneak peek of their pieces.

Can’t wait to see more stuff for this show pop up as the week goes on.
UPDATE: We’ll continue to keep this post going as more work surfaces. More behind the cut.
Yuta Onoda
A friend recently lent me my first graphic novel: Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth. To be honest, I’m having trouble getting into it (have you read it? should I push through it?) but, it’s opened me up to discovering more artists who do that style of illustration. Yuta Onoda is a Japanese artist based in Canada who is great producing very colorful, narrative images.
Yuta is going to be a part of Gallery 1988′s fourth Crazy 4 Cult show next month. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with. For more imagery goodness, visit his portfolio and blog. Thunder Chunky also has an interview with him that’s worth a read.
ABOUT PERFECT LAUGHTER
Perfect Laughter is Dennis and Christina Jacobs of Detroit, Michigan. In addition to blogging about artists that we love, we design, screenprint and letterpress paper goods. If you're looking for a graphic designer or illustrator, commissions are always welcome! (read more...)
OUR LATEST GIGPOSTER
We got to design and print a poster for Darling Imperial's farewell show at the Berkley Front. They let us do whatever we wanted, so we went with vintage lettering and a weathered, faded feel.
